our sustainable campaigns

Meatfree monday canarias

Inspired by Paul McCartney, we want to raise awareness of the detrimental effect animal agriculture and industrial fishing has on the environment and inspire to choose plant-based food at least one day a week. #MeatFreeMondayCanarias

Plogging

Plogging which combines running with picking up litter. This eco-friendly pastime is called Plocka Upp in Swedish and has gained popularity amongst sport enthusiasts eager to do their part for the environment. #PloggingCanarias

I LOVE CANARIas

The #ILoveCanarias social media campaign focuses on the central theme of love. Love for our islands, our communities, local businesses and of course, a love of nature. Each island is bursting with life and soon we will be able to embrace it again.

Our goal

is to get 100 people to contribute 1000€ per year for five years.

We are asking people who can afford to give back, to commit to contribute 1000€ a year for 5 years. This will grant us the possibility to encourage responsible tourism and the preservation of our islands by promoting and connecting local sustainable initiatives to the travellers that visit us.

SO THAT WE CAN:

how you can help

finanCial contribution

Putting in money to the movement would be a huge help to move things at the rate and scale we would like, but any contribution of promotion, sponsoring etc would all be hugely valuable.

"What I love about these tours is that the guides are not afraid to get off the beaten track and show us the real city. This is an I will definitely come back to"
Alene Elvine

“The guide was everything I hoped for, and more. BikeTour really makes a difference, I would have never discovered the beautiful places we stopped for"
