As a part of its mission to serve tourists sustainably, Atlantic Holiday Home attains the Travelife certification that marks the property’s commitment to responsible tourism.
The Travelife standard is recognised by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council. The Travelife Standard contains a range of criteria that assess the sustainable performance of properties like Atlantic Holiday Home. By becoming a part of the internationally recognized sustainability program for the hospitality industry that has about 1,500 members in more than 50 countries, the property aims to adopt practical tools and resources to improve the environmental, economic and social effects of its establishment.
Adding to the list of green practices that the property already follows on a daily functioning – such as contributing to local employment and benefits, procurement of green products, waste management and more, Atlantic Holiday Hotel plans to reduce energy and water consumption, reduce waste generation at source with the aim of achieving long-term cost reductions, thereby making financial sense from responsible tourism – an aspect that would encourage rest of the industry to go green as well!
Good to know: Who is Atlantic Holiday Hotel best for?
Nature lovers who would like to wake up to the views of the magnetic Atlantic ocean every morning, and end their days to the dazzling magic of the sun taking a dip into the water, painting the sky in all shades of red, orange, purple and more! Not to mention, folks who meditate to the sound of waves and like to take turns between swimming in the gigantic swimming pool and the ocean itself!
