On September 27th, more than 70 volunteers gathered in La Caleta, Costa Adeje for a Beach CleanUp organized by Canary Green. Our beach clean-up was more than just an environmental action, it was a day of community, awareness, and connection, reminding us of the power of people coming together for a shared cause. Together, we managed to collect around 440 kilograms of waste from the beach and surrounding coastline, leaving the area noticeably cleaner and safer for everyone.
Powered by Community and Partners
The event was made possible thanks to the generous support of Ayntamiento de Adeje, Ocean Beer, Ocean Born Foundation, Tenerife Top Training, Atlantico excursiones, Rent a Car YouKar, Venture Group Tenerife, Golf Adeje, Villa María, Cabildo Tenerife, Corales, Hovima Hotels, Participación y Voluntariado Ambientales de Tenerife. Their commitment to sustainability and ocean protection perfectly reflects the spirit of this initiative. We sincerely thank all our partners and volunteers for their dedication, enthusiasm, and teamwork, which allowed us to make a stronger impact together.

Your participation always matters
Change happens when we all take part. Whether you’re on your own, with family, friends, or part of a business, every effort helps. It doesn’t have to be with us, supporting any project that works toward a better future makes a difference. Even small steps add up, and together we can make a big difference.

Hard Work, Paella and Ocean Beer
From the very start, the energy at La Caleta was incredible, volunteers of all ages came ready to take action and give their best for the ocean. In just a few hours, we managed to clear waste not only from the beach but also from the surrounding cliffs and even the water, thanks to the amazing effort of our community. To round off the day, everyone shared a delicious paella and cold Ocean Beers, a well-deserved reward and a perfect moment to relax together after making such a positive impact.

Why Beach Clean-Ups Matter
We all share the opportunity to care for our planet and be part of something positive. Our beach clean-up at La Caleta was not only about picking up trash, it was also about raising awareness, inspiring each other, and showing how small steps can add up to real change. When we come together with goodwill and a sense of community, every action matters.
We’re excited to announce that our next Beach CleanUp will take place on October 25th in Malpais de Rasca, Pal Mar. Another great opportunity to roll up your sleeves, make a difference, and keep Tenerife’s beaches beautiful.
