We are excited to announce the launch of Canary Green`s new project, Go Green by Bus, a sustainable travel initiative aimed at promoting eco-friendly transportation across Tenerife. Our goal is to encourage both locals and tourists to explore the beautiful island using the extensive and efficient bus network, reducing carbon footprints and contributing to a greener environment.
First Stop: Los Abrigos
Our journey begins in the charming fishing village of Los Abrigos. Nestled on the southern coast of Tenerife, Los Abrigos is renowned for its picturesque harbor, tranquil beaches, and some of the best seafood on the island.

How to Get to Los Abrigos from Los Cristianos Station
Traveling from Los Cristianos to Los Abrigos is straightforward and convenient with the Guagua system. Here’s a step-by-step guide based on our experience:
Start at Los Cristianos Bus Station: The main bus station in Los Cristianos is well-connected with numerous bus lines.
Take Bus Line 470 or 483: Board the one of the two buses, which operates frequently and provides a direct route to Los Abrigos.
Travel Duration: The journey typically takes around 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic and the time of day.
Cost: A single ticket costs approximately €3.00, but prices may vary slightly based on the latest tariffs. It’s advisable to check the TITSA app or website for the most up-to-date information on fares.
Bus Schedule: The first bus to Los Abrigos departs around 6AM, and the last bus leaves around 10PM, offering flexible travel options throughout the day and night.
