Hi! I’m Daphne from Germany, and I’m currently studying Sustainability Science. I recently joined the Canary Green team, where I’ll be overseeing the beach clean-up project and supporting the team with social media.

I’m a nature lover at heart and a passionate surfer, so being close to the ocean means a lot to me. The first time I came to the island, I was struck by both its beauty and the visible environmental challenges. It made me realize how important it is to balance societal needs with ecological boundaries. I knew I wanted to be part of creating positive change. So I looked for the next beach clean-up… and that’s how I found Canary Green.

Now, as part of the team, I’m excited to turn awareness into action, help protect our coastlines, and inspire more people to care for the environment.
